The Olive Garden on McPherson Church Road has been closed since it caught fire last week.

The Olive Backyard in Fayetteville is anticipated to reopen about two weeks after a kitchen hearth brought on by a ruptured pure fuel line broken the restaurant final week. 

Repairs are underway on the restaurant, situated at 234 N. McPherson Church Highway.

Meagan Bernstein, a spokesperson with Darden Eating places, which owns Olive Backyard, stated the corporate is presently working with the town on permits, with an eye fixed on reopening late this week.

The restaurant has been closed because the Feb. 23 hearth, which the Fayetteville Fireplace Division stated was prompted by a pure fuel line that was damaged when crews tried to maneuver a kitchen equipment.

Deputy Fireplace Marshal Banks Wallace informed the Observer on the time that flames reached the hood exhaust system and ignited the attic. The hearth prompted round $8,000 in injury, in accordance with the fireplace division.
