ROCKHOLD

Peggy Ann Rockhold, age 78, of Lomax, Illinois, handed away Sunday, February 27, 2022 at her house.  She was born September 15, 1943 in Fort Madison, Iowa, the daughter of Floyd “Tuffy” and Elizabeth Nichols Maynard.  On Could 7, 1983, she married Henry “Doc” Rockhold in Dallas Metropolis, Illinois.

Peggy had been employed at Basic Electrical and Champion Spark Plug in Burlington, and retired from Sheaffer Pen Firm in Fort Madison. She was an lively member of the Grace Bible Church in Dallas Metropolis, and served as church hostess for a few years.  She loved fishing, procuring, eating out, and spending time along with her household.  She actually beloved her grandchildren, and loved spending time with them.

Survivors embody her husband, three sons: Kevin (Evie) Worley of Gladstone, IL, Kelly (Grace) Worley of Lomax, IL, Kendall Worley of Burlington, IA, two step sons: Shawn Rockhold and Sam Rockhold, each of Huntsville, AL, ten grandchildren, twelve nice grandchildren, three nice nice grandchildren, one brother: Tom (Melanie) Maynard of Pontoosuc, IL, and one sister: Sonja (Henry) Shipman of Dallas Metropolis, IL.  She was preceded in dying by her dad and mom, one brother: Butch Maynard, and three sisters: Dorothy Gilpin, Daisy Bundy, and Marrietta Hnat.

Funeral providers will likely be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday March 3, 2022 at Banks & Beals Funeral Dwelling in Dallas Metropolis, IL with Rev.
