Maria Friedman & Mates–Legacy, celebrating the abilities of late composers Marvin Hamlisch, Michel Legrand, and Stephen Sondheim, has prolonged its restricted engagement at London’s Menier Chocolate Manufacturing facility. The manufacturing, which started previews March 3 and formally opens March 8, was initially scheduled to finish March 20. Performances will now proceed via April 17.
The extension follows the current announcement that Friedman will direct Daniel Radcliffe in Merrily We Roll Alongside at New York Theatre Workshop this fall, a manufacturing primarily based on her award-winning 2013 staging on the Menier.
