WORCESTER — Planet Health has opened its doorways at 535 Lincoln St. in Lincoln Plaza, marking the gymnasium’s second location in Worcester.
The brand new 21,000-square-foot facility affords 120 items of cardio tools, 73 items of energy and free weights tools, a stretching and abs space, in-console televisions on all cardio tools, and personal locker rooms, altering areas, day lockers and showers.
Planet Health has different areas in Worcester in Webster Sq., Webster and Shrewsbury. The brand new Lincoln Plaza gymnasium is open and staffed 24 hours on weekdays, 12 a.m. Monday by means of 9 p.m. Friday, and from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
“This marks the 56th location from our franchisee group and we’re grateful for this chance to broaden our footprint in Worcester particularly,” Planet Health franchisee Brian Kablic stated. “We opened our first Worcester membership in 2012 and it makes excellent sense to offer one other location to this rising and vibrant metropolis, particularly after a 12 months that strengthened how vital each bodily and psychological wellness is for all of us.”
The gymnasium is filling the void left by W Health, which closed in 2017.
5 new companies opened at Lincoln Plaza within the final 12 months, a saving grace for the outside mall that noticed closing after closing in 2020.
In April, HomeGoods and TJ Maxx changed Staples and Barnes & Noble within the plaza, and Torito Mexican Restaurant took over the previous Ruby Tuesday restaurant area in June.
