There are 25 elementary faculties within the Inexperienced Bay Space Public Faculty District, and this week, you can find new Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.-inspired posters inside each classroom.
“They assist us type of springboard and have deeper discussions about the place we have been on this nation,” Howe Elementary Faculty educator Carissa Grasse mentioned.
The posters embody quotes, both from Dr. King or different African-American leaders.
Grasse says every trainer decides which quote they need to present.
“So I selected the one which mentioned, ‘Let no man pull you so low as to hate him,'” Grasse mentioned. “So it simply speaks to how Dr. King taught us that hatred simply does not have anywhere in our world.”

Vanden Heuvel says the corporate donates the posters to native faculty districts and companies.
He says the company is distributing practically 2,000 posters this yr.
