Residence of Reavisville, Mo. volunteer fireplace captain destroyed by fireplace; district asking for donations

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – A fireplace destroyed the house of a volunteer fireplace captain and his household over the weekend.

In accordance with the North Stone Northeast Barry County Hearth Safety District, the house belonged to Volunteer Captain Dylan Foster and his household. Dylan and his spouse have two boys ages 13 and eight, and a lady, age 5.

Hearth Captain Bob McCullough says the fireplace occurred round 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon. He says Dylan and his spouse and three youngsters weren’t house on the time and all pets had been exterior apart from one reptile, which was rescued by firefighters with minor accidents.

Captain McCullogh says the complete contents of the house had been broken by smoke and warmth.

The hearth district is asking for family donations of washcloths, towels, private hygiene gadgets, garments (together with coats and chilly climate gear), sneakers, dishes, beds, bedding, and something in between.
