The Energy Finance Company (PFC) on Friday mentioned that the corporate has paid 887 crore to the federal government as an interim dividend for the monetary yr 2021-22.

In keeping with a press launch, the Maharatna firm mentioned, “That is along with 333 crore and 370 crore paid as first and second interim dividend respectively to the Authorities of India.”

The interim dividend RTGS (Actual Time Gross Settlement) was introduced to Union Energy Minister R Ok Singh by Ravinder Singh Dhillon, CMD, PFC, within the presence of the Secretary, Ministry of Energy, Alok Kumar and different senior officers.

The press launch learn, “The third interim dividend @ 60% i.e. Rs. 6 per fairness share of face worth Rs. 10 every was declared by the Board of Administrators in its assembly held on 11 February 2022. With this, PFC has up to now paid interim dividends amounting to Rs. 2,838 crore to its shareholders @107.5% i.e. Rs. 10.75 per fairness share of the face worth of Rs.10 every for the monetary yr 2021-22, which is the very best ever dividend paid by PFC.”
