Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag on Saturday gave a unusual take to Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 mega public sale after spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was picked by Rajasthan Royals for the upcoming season.

Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals had been concerned in a bidding struggle for Aswhin and ultimately, the off-spinner was acquired by the Royals for the value of Rs 5 crores.

Ashwin will now group up with England batter Jos Buttler, whom the India spinner had ‘Mankaded’ within the 2019 season.

Sehwag shared a ‘meme’ that includes Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi wherein the previous congress President had hugged the latter.

“Haha Ashwin to Rajasthan. Will love him plotting a mankad with Butler,” Sehwag added.

A complete of 600 cricketers will go below the hammer within the public sale that might be held on Saturday and Sunday.
