CLEVELAND, Ohio – Market Backyard Brewery is holding its ninth annual Burns Night time dinner.
The dinner is 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27.
It’s a celebration of Robert Burns, Scotland’s nationwide poet, and comes full with bagpiping, poetry, ale, scotch and haggis.

• Shepherd’s pie
• Roasted root greens

• Dram of scotch

The nationwide day celebrating the 18th-century poet falls on Jan. 25, his believed beginning date in 1759. Burns, who wrote usually of affection and nature, was a farmer, a father of a dozen youngsters and a drinker. He died at age 37.
And sure, as at all times, kilts are welcomed.
Price is $85.
