DEDHAM, Mass. (AP) — George Berkowitz, who based the seafood restaurant chain Authorized Seafoods, has died in a Boston suburb. He was 97.

Berkowitz died in his sleep on Feb. 20 in his retirement neighborhood residence in Dedham after coping with failing well being, The Boston Globe experiences.
