TRENTON – Almost a 12 months and a half after two-thirds of New Jersey voters threw their assist behind legalizing marijuana, the state has begun accepting purposes from these seeking to turn out to be the state’s first licensed dispensary homeowners. 

The New Jersey Hashish Regulatory Fee on Tuesday started formally accepting purposes from potential authorized weed retailers, those that want to open marijuana dispensaries that can promote marijuana to anybody over 21 years outdated. 

By 4 p.m., 172 purposes had already been filed, the CRC introduced. In a press release, CRC Government Director Jeff Brown stated lots of the candidates made their accounts months in the past and waited till Tuesday to formally submit their purposes.

Purposes from marijuana growers, producers and testing laboratory operators opened up on Dec. 15. Almost 500 purposes have been filed that day alone.
