DeSoto Civic Backyard Membership (DCGC) members had been up early on Feb. 10 to help with the Annual Public Tree Giveaway. The occasion, sponsored by the DeSoto County Soil and Water Conservation District, was held on the BankPlus Sports activities Heart in Southaven.
Throughout this occasion, DCGC Co-President Lynn Dye and Affiliate Member JoAnne Jewett helped wrap and distribute the seedlings to the general public recipients. Blueberry Bush, Ginkgo, Hydrangea, Native Pecan, PawPaw and Yoshino Cherry had been just some of the numerous out there seedlings given away.
