LARNED – A Backyard Metropolis lady convicted for a job in an escape by a sexual offender from Larned State Hospital final June was sentenced on Thursday to 16 months in jail.

Liliana Guadalupe Houser, 45, pleaded no contest on Jan. 6 to counts of illegal sexual relations with a affected person whereas employed by the Kansas Division for Growing old and Disabilities Providers (KDADS), trafficking in contraband in a care and therapy facility, and obstructing within the apprehension or prosecution of a registered intercourse offender.

The costs stemmed from an investigation by the Pawnee County Sheriff’s Division following the June 30, 2021, escape of John Freeman Colt from the Sexual Predator Therapy Program situated on the campus of Larned State Hospital. Colt was recaptured in Utah three months later.
