A Backyard Metropolis man was injured in a semi truck crash on February 9 on Interstate 70 in Russell County.
In response to the Russell County Sheriff’s Workplace, at 1:48 AM on February 9, a 2000 Peterbilt semi pulling a trailer pushed by 22-year-old Jonathan Gomez of Backyard Metropolis was westbound on I-70 at mile marker 199 close to Dorrance.
The semi drifted into the north ditch and drove over a culvert grate. The trailer indifferent from the tractor. The trailer got here to relaxation in some close by bushes. The tractor got here to relaxation within the ditch.
Gomez acquired minor accidents, was handled on-scene and refused transport to the hospital.
He was buckled up on the time of the crash based on the Sheriff’s Workplace.
