FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — A battle at a fuel station left one individual shot and one other injured Thursday evening.

On Thursday shortly earlier than 8 p.m., officers responded to a taking pictures on the Exxon fuel station at Owen Drive and Gillespie Road.

After arriving, officers discovered a battle ensued and the suspect fired a gun. A bullet hit one other individual and that individual was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening accidents.

Officers additionally informed a CBS 17 crew member on scene that one other individual was transported after being slapped throughout the battle.

Police mentioned a suspect is in custody.
