One individual was critically injured when hearth swept by means of a southwest Birmingham house Sunday.

Birmingham Fireplace and Rescue Service and cops responded about 1:15 p.m. to a report of a home hearth within the 1200 block of Cotton Avenue with an individual trapped inside.

Firefighters arrived to search out hearth coming from the one-story home. They pulled the sufferer – who was in a again room of the home- from the blaze.
