EL PASO, Texas (KTAM) – A day after his dying, group is remembering El Paso Police Division Chief Greg Allen who has been shaping the police division for the previous 15 years and impacting the group.
Basic Dana Pittard, who served because the Commanding Basic of Fort Bliss from 2010 till 2013, labored alongside chief Allen.
Pittard solely had nice phrases for Allen, calling him the best police chief in El Paso and emphasizing the significance his title held as the primary African-American chief within the space.
Throughout his time in Fort Bliss, Pittard stated Allen’s approach of policing had an immense influence on troopers, particularly these battling psychological well being.

The award was offered to him by Chief Allen in a particular ceremony, McKay recalled.
