BELMONT, Mass. — An elementary college in Belmont has been deemed protected to reenter after being quickly evacuated after an odor of pure fuel was detected in one of many stairwells.

The Belmont Hearth Division and a fuel firm confirmed there is no such thing as a leak throughout the Butler Elementary College, based on police.

Belmont Police shall be escorting college students and employees again to the college to renew their college day.

College students and employees had been evacuated from the college and relocated to St. Luke’s Church on Lexington Avenue for shelter, police mentioned.
