A Columbus police officer shot and injured a teenage male Tuesday afternoon whereas responding to a report of individuals with weapons at a fuel station on town’s East Facet.

The capturing occurred after police had been dispatched at 4:22 p.m. to a Marathon fuel station at 3377 East Livingston Ave. at Barnett Street, stated Watch Commander Lt. Larry Yates. Police had been referred to as to the world in response to a 911 name about photographs fired within the space and folks with weapons seen close to the fuel station.

The suspects fled the scene when police arrived, resulting in a foot chase east on East Livingston Avenue, Yates stated.
