Dennis Wayne Manley July 31, 1943 – March 1, 2021
Although Dennis Wayne Manley’s dying was a yr in the past, his legacy lives on by means of donations that might be given on his behalf to his church and St. Jude’s Hospital in Memphis.
Dennis was a household man, dedicated to his spouse of 52 years Ella Virginia “Dolly” who handed in 2015, and their sons, Ricky Dale and Timothy Wayne, who handed away collectively in a bike accident which devastated him.

“He was an amazing good friend with a quiet, humble and sort spirit,” Greg Nunley, Manley’s caregiver, stated. “Folks knew him for his beneficiant and giving nature. In 2014, Manley was baptized and have become a member of Chestnut Springs Congregational Church in Tracy Metropolis, recognized to most as Orange Hill Church. He was a devoted member of the church and studied his Bible every day.
“Each month he saved cash to donate to St. Jude’s Youngsters’s Hospital and faithfully gave to his church,” Nunley stated. “His final needs had been for his property to be settled and the rest divided between his church at Orange Hill and St. Jude’s Youngsters’s Hospital. In honor of his life, every group will obtain $2,850.”
“His kindness, generosity, and keenness for the church was a beacon to us all,” Nunley defined. “He seldom spoke in church, however his presence did. He wasn’t a person of many phrases, however his love and kindness spoke for him. His life mirrored the love of Jesus. We liked him and miss him dearly.”
Nunley asks that particular thanks go to Manley’s neighbors who helped him in his final days; Keith Parsons and his household, Troy and Roxanna Fults, and Don Hutcheson. Their acts of kindness are significantly appreciated.
