Dublin, Feb 27 (IANS): Eire has the second highest price of family entry to the web within the 27 member states of the European Union (EU27), in response to the newest figures launched by the nation’s Central Statistics Workplace (CSO).

In 2021, 97 per cent of households in Eire had entry to the web and this was the second highest price alongside Finland within the EU27, stated the CSO in a report titled “Measuring Eire’s Progress 2020”.

Luxembourg and the Netherlands had the very best price within the EU27 with family web entry price within the two international locations every reaching 99 per cent, stated the report quoting Eurostat, the EU’s statistics workplace, Xinhua information company reported.

Bulgaria had the bottom price within the EU27, with solely 84 per cent of households within the nation getting access to the web, it stated.

The proportion of households in Eire with entry to the web elevated from 88 per cent in 2017 to 97 per cent in 2021, stated the report.
