On Thursday, Briggs pleaded responsible to a cost of conspiracy to commit financial institution fraud. She is scheduled to be sentenced on April 25, 2023. Richard Kobi pleaded responsible on April 27, 2022, to conspiracy to commit financial institution fraud, ten counts of financial institution fraud, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. He was sentenced in December 2022 to a few years in federal jail.
