Frank Tocco, 83, of Ogdensburg

OGDENSBURG, New York (WWNY) – Frank Tocco, 83, of Ogdensburg, NY died on December 18, 2022 in Carthage, NY. Per his request there will probably be no providers. Preparations are underneath the care of Frary Funeral House, Ogdensburg.

Frank was born April 16, 1939 in Terrasini, Sicily the son of Guiseppe Tocco and Maria Guiseppe. He got here to the U.S. in 1953 graduating from highschool and later the Detroit Barbour Intermediate Faculty. In 1963 he enlisted within the U.S. Military receiving the Nationwide Protection Service Medal, Marksman Badge (M-14 Rifle), and Knowledgeable Badge (M-1 Rifle). After his honorable discharge he started a profession with Vandermark Manufacturing Co. in Detroit, Michigan as a normal workplace clerk. In 1969 he moved to NYC and labored at Crane Firm till 1974 when he started a profession as a supervisor and photographer in varied studios till his retirement in 2006.

In 2006 he moved to Ogdensburg, NY and made a house along with his good friend Raul “John” Silva. John predeceased him on June 7, 2022. Frank labored as a docent on the Frederic Remington Artwork Museum for plenty of years.

He loved a very good cup of espresso over dialog, gardening, and speaking in regards to the fantastic local weather of Sicily that he missed.

He’s survived by household in Sicily, pals Peter Nichols, Dan and Nikki Rutherford, Noah Martin, and Reverend Joe and Susan Weidler. Margaret Prudhomme, June Ross, and Michele Whalen are amongst many pals Frank hung out with whereas in The North Nation. He was at all times appreciative and really grateful for the assistance that Noah supplied within the yard and backyard.
