Whereas addressing Sugar and Ethanol India Convention 2022 in Mumbai, Union Minister for Highway Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on March 20 confused on the necessity of producing ethanol. He stated, “Authorities has taken a choice to open biofuel shops for residents to fill ethanol and that vehicles, bikes and rickshaws could be out there on flex engines. Authorities is exploring potentialities of constructing telecom towers change diesel to ethanol.”
