BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) ––– The Arts Council of Better Baton Rouge is honoring the theme of “Black Well being and Wellness” for Black Historical past Month with the “Therapeutic Historical past” exhibition.

Curated by native artist and activist, Kristen Downing, the exhibition options the work of eight native artists.

In accordance with the Arts Council, that is solely the primary of many occasions that can function BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and other people of coloration) tales and artists sooner or later.

A closing ceremony is going on Monday, February 21 at 6:00 PM on the Cary Saurage Group Arts Heart, positioned at 233 St. Ferdinand St.
