LOWELL, MASS. (WHDH) – An incident at a gasoline station in Lowell on Monday afternoon prompted a large police response.
Officers responding to Haffner’s on Appleton Road after 1 p.m. roped off the gasoline station with yellow crime scene tape.
Video from SKY7 HD confirmed a number of police cruisers parked within the space as detectives scoured the scene for proof.
There was no rapid phrase on the character of the incident however some neighborhood residents reported listening to noises that gave the impression of gunfire.
The scene remained sealed off for a number of hours however investigators have since cleared the world.
