Indian state-run agency seeks electrical energy consumers from brownfield coal-fired items

SINGAPORE, Jan 17 (Reuters) – India’s state-run Damodar Valley Corp (DVC) on Tuesday invited energy distribution utilities and industries to purchase energy from 5 brownfield coal-fired items it’s increasing.

DVC expects to develop capability of 5 coal-fired items in two states by 54.4% to three.72 gigawatts, with the expanded capability coming on-line between March 2027 and March 2029, it stated in a newspaper commercial looking for consumers for the electrical energy it will generate from these items.
