J.P. Morgan Sells 60 Million Shares in Airtel Africa for Singapore Telecom at 140 Pence Every

J.P. Morgan Securities PLC mentioned Friday that Singapore Telecom Worldwide Pte has offered 60 million bizarre shares in Airtel Africa at a worth of 140 pence every.

Airtel Africa shares closed Thursday at 155.50 pence.

The transaction raised mixture gross proceeds of 84 million kilos ($110.8 million) and the putting shares symbolize round 1.6% of Airtel Africa’s issued share capital.

Airtel Africa will not obtain any proceeds from the putting.

The putting was performed by an accelerated bookbuild and is anticipated to decide on March 29.
