Though there’s snow on the flowers, Crimson Butte Backyard is planning for the summer time — with early ticket gross sales this week for the primary two dates within the Salt Lake Metropolis venue’s 2022 Out of doors Live performance Collection.
The Icelandic alt-rock band Kaleo — whose observe “Means Down We Go” has been heard on such TV exhibits as “Gray’s Anatomy” — will headline the opening live performance within the collection, on Tuesday, Could 17. One other various musician, Bones Owens, would be the opening act.
On Friday, Could 20, the Trey Anastasio Band will headline. Fronted by Anastasio, the lead guitarist for the jam band Phish, the band experiments with improv rock and free jazz.
Tickets will go on sale — at redbuttegarden.org/concert events — Thursday, 9 a.m. Mountain time, for Crimson Butte Backyard members, and Friday at 9 a.m. Mountain for most people.
Crimson Butte will announce the complete schedule for the 2022 Out of doors Live performance Collection on April 12.
