Punjab State Energy Company Restricted (PSPCL) officers stated the unidentified truck driver fled the spot after colliding into the poles.

Jagdeep Singh Garcha, government engineer, Focal Level, stated groups had been instantly despatched to the spot, following which the electrical energy was restored inside few hours.

“The site visitors, majorly hit because the poles had fallen in the midst of the highway, was diverted for a number of hours because the repairs had been happening after the collision,” advised an official.

No case was registered towards the truck driver until the submitting of the report.
