Allegheny Township supervisors this week renamed their assembly room the “Mable Mazza Assembly Room” in honor of the late neighborhood contributor and activist.
Mazza incessantly attended conferences of township supervisors, the Kiski Space Faculty Board and different regional and county organizations. She additionally labored the polls on Election Day.
The supervisors determined in February to rename the room for Mazza, who died in 2020 on the age of 88.

Former supervisors Chairwoman Kathryn Starr fondly remembered Mazza.
