The sixth annual MLK Legacy Artwork Stroll at Stillman School is occurring Saturday.
This 12 months’s featured artist is Atlanta-based Melissa Mitchell, and the stroll showcases art work that displays Black historical past and tradition and works created by Black artists.
The stroll is occurring from midday to three p.m. Saturday on the multi-purpose facility subsequent to the Hay School Middle, and is free and open to the general public.
Mitchell has labored with international manufacturers together with Spanx, Footlocker, Essence Journal, Black Enterprise, Peloton and extra.
Earlier than the beginning of the stroll, Stillman is internet hosting a ribbon-cutting at 11 a.m. for the Dr. Cynthia Warrick Artwork Gallery within the multi-purpose constructing subsequent to Hay School Middle.
