Mounts Botanical Garden Spotlights Nature POP! Artist Sean Kenney

Pals of the Mounts Botanical Backyard hosted two days (March 2-3) of particular occasions and guided excursions spotlighting Sean Kenney, the artist behind the favored exhibition Nature POP!, who was visiting from his residence within the Netherlands. Mounts welcomed over 300 distinguished sponsors, members, elementary college college students, elected officers, and representatives from three countywide organizations: the Cultural Council for Palm Seashore County, Uncover the Palm Seashores, and the Palm Seashore County Tourism Improvement Council.

Making its Florida debut at Mounts by means of Might 1, the exhibition options over 40 sculptures created from greater than 800,000 LEGO items. With a mission to encourage and educate by means of nature, Mounts Botanical Backyard is Palm Seashore County’s oldest and largest botanical backyard. Guests to this 16-acre tropical oasis will see an acclaimed assortment of 25 distinctive backyard areas containing greater than 5,000 species of tropical and sub-tropical crops, together with Florida natives, unique and tropical fruit bushes, herbs, palms, roses, cactus, bromeliads and way more. Mounts Botanical Backyard is a part of the Palm Seashore County Cooperative Extension Division, in partnership with the College of Florida and the non-profit Pals of the Mounts Botanical Backyard.
