A Bergen County man charged with setting his pickup truck on fireplace over the weekend was attempting to gather insurance coverage cash on the car, in keeping with police.
Louis Molino, 40, of Little Ferry, was arrested Sunday and charged with arson to gather insurance coverage, aggravated arson and inflicting or risking widespread damage or injury in a residential space, officers mentioned.
Molino sprayed starter and air con fluids alongside the inside of his 2008 Nissan Frontier and lit the fluids with a match, inflicting an explosive fireplace, in keeping with an affidavit of possible trigger.
