Tom Eckert is stepping down as chair of the Oregon Psilocybin Advisory Board. Eckert, together with his late spouse Sheri Eckert, labored for years to convey authorized, regulated psilocybin to Oregon.
The couple sponsored the invoice that turned legislation in 2020, which created a regulatory framework for therapeutic psychedelic mushrooms.
The state launched the primary draft guidelines for that program in February.
