The Washington, D.C.-based American Petroleum Institute, the most important lobbying group for the oil and fuel trade, has promoted Ryan Meyers to senior vice chairman and basic counsel.
Meyers succeeds Paul Afonso, who stepped down after serving as chief authorized officer for 2 and a half years with the corporate.
