Plattsburgh group celebrates the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The Plattsburgh group held its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration as we speak on the Newman Middle on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus.

That is the primary time in three years that the commemoration was held in individual. Through the pandemic a video model was broadcast on the native public tv station.

SUNY Plattsburgh librarian Holly Heller-Ross is Vice President of the Martin Luther King Fee of Plattsburgh.

“The actual essence of Martin Luther King’s message is folks coming collectively to make change, to do issues as a group and he talked in regards to the beloved group incessantly. So having the ability to rejoice this legacy in individual may be very thrilling.”

The commemoration featured speeches, tune and prayers.
