Rep. Greg Steube (R-Fla.) returned dwelling from the hospital on Saturday, after struggling “a number of critical accidents” in a 25-foot fall from a ladder on his property earlier this week.
“I’m grateful to be dwelling and recovering after being discharged from the hospital right now,” Steube stated in a tweet. “All reward and glory goes to God! Jen and I stay endlessly blessed by the prayers and help from our pals, household, and neighborhood.”
The Florida Republican was knocked off a ladder whereas slicing tree limbs on his property in Sarasota, Fla., on Wednesday, falling about 25 toes, his workplace stated. He spent the evening within the ICU earlier than being moved out of intensive care on Thursday afternoon.
“I want to lengthen my deepest because of the whole crew at Sarasota Memorial Hospital for the superb care I acquired,” Steube added. “My workplace will present updates subsequent week on how my restoration will influence my return to Washington.”
Steube is ready to hitch the newly created Choose Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Authorities when he returns to Congress, Speaker Kevin McCarthy stated on Thursday.
