Sibling victims of Backyard Prairie home hearth recognized

GARDEN PRAIRIE, Ailing. (WTVO) — The Boone County Coroner has launched the identification of 5 siblings killed in a home hearth in Boone County on Monday.

Emanuel McConnaughay, 24, Elizabeth McConnaughay, 20, Danika Tatman, 14, Zophia Tatman, 13, and Aniela Tatmen, 9, died of smoke inhalation after their home caught hearth early Monday morning.

Boone County Sheriff’s Deputies and hearth departments from across the county have been known as to a farmhouse within the 11000 block of Fleming Highway round 2:20 a.m.

“Simply shortly earlier than 2:30 a.m. this morning, we have been dispatched to a home hearth with individuals trapped,” mentioned Chief Brian Kunce of Boone County Fireplace District #2.
