SMEs partake in finance mela

LAHORE: A lot of small and medium entrepreneurs (SMEs) visited a day-long SME finance mela, displaying curiosity in merchandise displayed by business banks and monetary establishments, The Information learnt on Thursday.

Over 22 monetary establishments showcased their newest and out there services to cater to enterprise monetary wants of the SMEs.

Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Trade (LCCI) in collaboration with State Financial institution of Pakistan (SBP) held the mela at LCCI premises on Thursday.

The mela was organised to supply first-hand info to members of the enterprise neighborhood, significantly younger and rising entrepreneurs, about financing merchandise supplied by business banks to SMEs, LCCI president Mian Nauman Kabir mentioned. He was of the view that insufficient entry to finance was hampering SME progress.

Talking on the event, managing director SBP Muhammad Ashraf Khan knowledgeable that Rs37 billion had been spent on Kamyab Jawan Program, Rs56 billion on Apna Ghar Scheme, and Rs1 billion had been given to the ladies entrepreneurs.
