State approves over $12.2 million in grants and low-interest loans for native clear water initiatives

ALBANY – The State Environmental Amenities Company has permitted thousands and thousands in grants and low-interest loans for clear water initiatives in space municipalities.

The City of Cairo in Greene County will obtain $1.6 million in long-term, interest-free financing to develop extra groundwater supply capability, enhance the Park Effectively website and current completed water storage tank, distribution system upgrades and set up of recent meters and meter studying gear.

City of Crawford in Orange County will obtain a $2.3 million grant, $711,329 in short-term, interest-free financing and $1.4 million in short-term, market-rate financing for the development of two manufacturing wells and a water therapy constructing, and set up of some 6,100 linear toes of water major to attach the therapy facility to the distribution system.

The Village of Nyack in Rockland County will obtain a $3 million water grant to interchange roughly 13,000 linear toes of water major.

The Westchester Joint Water Works in Westchester County will obtain a $3.2 million grant for the development of a brand new ultraviolent mild disinfection facility on the Rye Lake Pump Station.
