The Kansas Division of Well being and Setting says Kauffman Museum’s touring exhibit – Vapes: Advertising an Dependancy – stopped by the Take Down the Tobacco Day occasion on the Kansas Statehouse on March 3 throughout its 2022 statewide tour.

KDHE stated Take Down Tobacco Day is an annual occasion held by the Tobacco Free Kansas Coalition and American Most cancers Society. The occasion brings center and highschool college students collectively from 13 Resist Chapters throughout the Sunflower State. Collectively, it stated the scholars study tobacco prevention and their position in native and state advocacy.

The Division stated Resist is a youth-led statewide motion created to battle the tobacco business’s affect on youngsters.
