TOKYO, Feb 1 (Reuters) – A gaggle of 48 telecoms firms together with Japan’s NTT (9432.T) is looking for patent charges from Toyota Motor Corp (7203.T) and different automakers for elements used to attach automobiles to the web, the Nikkei enterprise each day reported on Tuesday.

Nokia (NOKIA.HE), Nippon Telegraph and Phone Corp (NTT) and different corporations are demanding Toyota, Honda Motor Co (7267.T) and Nissan Motor Co pay $15 per automotive in trade for complete use of associated patents, the Nikkei mentioned.

The transfer is prone to result in increased prices for the carmakers, the paper mentioned, including it’s unclear if the automakers will comply with pay for the patents.

Spokespeople at Toyota, Nissan and NTT declined to remark, whereas nobody was accessible to remark at Honda.
