Truck Yard, the dog- and kid-friendly beer backyard that includes free reside music, opened Monday in Alliance City Heart, three years after it introduced plans for Fort Price.
The 2-acre web site at 3101 Prairie Vista Drive has yard video games, garden chairs, hearth pits, a Ferris wheel, and, in fact, a rotation of meals vans. The outside house surrounds a “West Texas pole barn” that includes an extended bar serving beer and craft cocktails. A menu is coming quickly, in line with its web site.
However don’t anticipate to catch the Cowboys on the bar. There aren’t any TVs.
“Truck Yard is for disconnecting from know-how and reconnecting with your mates, household or that first date,” a publish on its web site reads. “We now have purposefully taken away TV distraction to facilitate the telling of that previous story or creating a brand new one.”
Hours are 11 a.m. to 12 am. Sunday by Thursday and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
Different Truck Yard places are in Dallas, The Colony and Houston.
