MILAN, March 17 (Reuters)Telecom Italia (TIM) TLIT.MI faces a 2.6 billion euro ($2.9 billion) request for damages in a case regarding alleged abuse of its dominant place within the broadband market after a criticism by rival Open Fiber, the cellphone group’s 2021 monetary assertion exhibits.
